Sandra "Sandy" A. White

Sandra "Sandy" A. White (Iannuccilli), age 80, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 13, 2023, at home, surrounded by her loving family. Born May 7, 1943, in Johnston, RI to parents Thomas and Anita (Danis) Iannuccilli, she grew up in Johnston and graduated from Mt. Pleasant High school in 1962. Sandy met her cherished husband and soul mate Robert "Bob" White at a dance hall early in her teens and proclaimed to her friends, "That's the boy I'm going to marry". True to her always determined self, they did marry on August 14th, 1962, a Tuesday and they danced together throughout 61 years of marriage, setting an example to their three children and everyone they met of true and enduring love. Sandy was a loving and supportive woman who loved her husband with all of her heart and loved all of her children always and forever. She was an amazing wife and mother, bringing light, laughter, and amazing food to everyone she met. She was unfailing in her belief that her husband and each of her children could achieve anything they desired and had a way of making everyone in her life feel as though she loved them best! Sandy led an active life and was an accomplished cook, seamstress, golfer, tennis player, friend, Tik-Tok star and business owner to name a few of her accomplishments; but most importantly to her, she loved her family with the fiercest of devotion. Her impact was far reaching with friends made through each of her past times, she was universally loved and will be missed by many. The world is less bright now that she is not in it. Sandra is survived by her beloved husband of 61 years Robert White, and their children Robin White of Jamestown, RI, Christopher White of Coventry, RI, Tracy Pierce and Son in Law Randy Pierce of Canterbury, NH, two beautiful granddaughters Olivia Ashton White of Coventry, RI and Chace Montgomery Marshall of Jamestown, RI and a loving brother and sister in law, Douglas and Josephine Iannuccilli of Palm City, FL. Sandra is predeceased by her parents Thomas and Anita Iannuccilli as well as her brother Donald Iannuccilli. The family will be hosting a private celebration of life in the coming weeks.
