Enis Lillian Pardi

Enis Lillian Pardi, 87, of North Scituate, RI, passed away peacefully at South County Hospital on Saturday, June 13, 2026. Born on July 28,1938 in Providence, RI, Enis was the beloved daughter of the late Agostino and Filomena (DeCristofaro) Cambio. Throughout her life, Enis was a devout Roman Catholic. She was an active parishioner of Saint Thomas Church in Providence, RI for many years, and of Saint Joseph's Church in North Scituate, RI for the past 40 years. She is survived by her devoted husband, Robert Angelo Pardi, of Scituate, RI, daughter, Jennifer Pardi Vendettuoli, son-in law, Peter Robert Vendettuoli, and grandson, Jed Robert Vendettuoli, of Richmond, RI. She also leaves behind many caring relatives and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved sister, Leonilda "Leona" Cambio, and brother, Bartholomew Cambio. At the beginning of her professional life, after earning a degree in secretarial skills from Bryant College (now known as Bryant University), Enis worked as an executive assistant at Hospital Trust Bank. She became a full-time homemaker after the birth of her daughter, Jennifer. When Enis was around 47 years old, she began taking continuing education courses at Rhode Island College, initially for personal enrichment. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and obtained a teaching certificate in elementary education. She enjoyed working as a substitute elementary school teacher for many years. Earlier in her life, Enis had many hobbies, including but not limited to skiing, gardening, baking and ceramics. She was a board member of the Fogarty Center for many years. Enis was also Treasurer of the Saint Joseph's Church Women's Guild for many years. She enjoyed singing in the church choir and participating in fundraising activities for the church. Enis loved being a figure skating spectator. She enjoyed reading fiction and non-fiction. Enis travelled to many places domestically and abroad, such as Alaska, Italy, England and the Holy Land. In her late 20's, she enjoyed living in Alaska. Throughout her life, Enis had a curious mind and a love of learning. She was an extrovert who thrived on interacting with people. Enis will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by her family and friends. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 21, 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Winfield & Sons Funeral Home and Crematory, located at 571 West Greenville Avenue (Route 116), Scituate, RI 02857. On Monday, June 22, 2026, the funeral procession will begin at 9:00 AM at Winfield & Sons. Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM at Saint Joseph's Church, located at 144 Danielson Pike, North Scituate, RI 02857. Burial ceremony at 12:00 PM at Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery Chapel, located at 301 South County Trail, Exeter, RI 02822. In lieu of flowers, Enis's husband requests that donations be made to Saint Joseph's Church.
