Thomas L. Redman

Thomas L. Redman, 59, of Corliss Institute in Warren passed away April 5, 2022. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Bob and Elsie (Smith) Redman; brother of Clifford Redman (Barbara), Gary Redman (Cynthia), Suzan Redman-Charlebois (Ron), Robert Redman Jr. (Beverly), Linda Payne, Lori Santoro (Michael) and Cindy Redman (Richard Castaldi). He also leaves 13 nieces and nephews. Tom was deaf and blind, despite that, he refused to sit on the sidelines. He loved to swim, hike, play basketball, camp and canoe. He was a loving brother and being part of a large family was important to him. He rarely missed any family gatherings. Tom lived at a group home run by the Corliss Institute for 35 years. He was able to remain active and thrive. His family would like to thank the Corliss for the wonderful care he received and to the incredible staff that went beyond expectations in taking care of him. A private memorial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Corliss Institute, 290 Main Street, Warren, RI 02885.
