In Loving Memory Patricia Ann Lorange died peacefully, surrounded by family on November 17, 2021 at HopeHealth Hospice Facility in Providence, RI. Patricia was born November 23, 1944 in Providence, RI to George Devine and Mary Florence Devine. She has one surviving brother, George Devine. Patricia is survived by her husband of 57 years, Bruce George Lorange as well as her three children; daughters: Cheryl Ann Smith and husband Daniel Smith, Suzanne Lorange-Cook and husband Francis E. Cook, son: Bruce George Lorange, Jr. and wife Yurie Lorange. Grandchildren: Rachel Anne Guadagno and husband Norman Guadagno, Sarah Lynne Hall and husband Jonathan Hall, as well as great-grandson: Nathaniel Scott Guadagno. Patricia graduated from Hope High School in Providence, RI with a focus on Business and received honors in different aspects of business practicum and office procedures, as well as top honors in spelling. She worked as a secretary, a waitress (which she stated was her favorite job) and for many years after that she worked in the Glocester RI School System as an Administrative Assistant to the Principal of West Glocester Elementary School, from which she retired. She was dearly loved by the children and her coworkers. Patricia had a beautiful heart and was very loving, caring and giving. Her family was everything to her and she to them. She especially loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was an avid volunteer, serving at Hope Alzheimer’s Day Care Center where she would often bring in treats for the patients. Additionally, for many years she volunteered at St. Francis of Assisi Food Bank through St. James Church in Danielson, CT - working in an administrative capacity as well as distributing food to people in need, where she touched numerous lives as well. She loved music, dancing and was known to win one or two dance contests in her day. Her pets were always a big part of her life and she also loved them dearly. Services will be private, however a memorial mass will be dedicated to Patricia at St. James Church in Danielson, CT which will be announced at a later date. A special thanks to the staff at HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence, RI for their support and the dignity in which they attended to our beloved wife/mother/grandmother.
