Otilia (Costa) Tracey, 96, of Scituate, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, October 16, 2021. She was the wife of the late John F. Tracey. "Tillie” was born in South Attleboro, MA., the daughter of the late Patricio and Ermelinda (Alexandre) Costa. She worked for many years in the jewelry industry, but her true vocation centered around her family. Her personality was warm and welcoming to all, and she especially enjoyed social visits that included card games. Besides her love and devotion to family, she made many lasting friendships with her caring neighbors at Rockland Oaks and the Scituate Senior Center. Tillie is survived by her four sons, John Tracey (Kim) of Sarasota, FL., Ronald Tracey (Carolyn) of Bartow, FL., Gary Tracey of North Scituate, RI., and Patrick Tracey (Noreen) of Warwick, RI. She leaves eight grandchildren, David, Ryan, Austin, Katelyn, Christine, Jill, Jacqueline, and Michelle and seven great-grandchildren. Among her many nieces and nephews, she leaves Patricia Sauve, with whom she shared a special bond. She was predeceased by her brother, George Costa, her sister, Almerinda McGeough, and her daughter-in-law, Donna Tracey. A Committal Service and Burial will be held on Friday, October 22 at 10:30 AM in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 301 South County Trail, Exeter, RI. Please meet at the administration building to be lined up for procession at 10:00 AM. Masks are required in the chapel. In her memory, please consider donations to the Saint Antoine Residence, 10 Rhodes Avenue, North Smithfield, RI 02896, or to Hope Health Hospice, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904.
