Banville, Normand E., 89 died Tues. August 5th at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center. He was the beloved husband of 57 yrs to Eileen C Honey ( Gagnon ) Banville. Born in Providence a son of the late Joseph and Mary Jane ( Brisson ) Banville he was a longtime resident of Central Ave., Johnston. Mr. Banville worked as a machinist for RedHead Manufacturing for many years retiring in 1987. Besides his wife he leaves 2 sons, Albert J. Banville and Bruce E. Banville of Johnston, 2 daughters Sharon M. Banville and Rachel A. Monroe of Johnston, 4 Grandchildren 1 Great granddaughter, 3 brothers Jules Banville of SC, Raymond Banville of FL and Leonard Banville of Warwick, RI. He was brother of the late Joseph Banville and Anita Kwiatkowski. Although family mattered most, Mr. Banville had a love of Gardening. His Funeral will be Thur. at 9am from the Winfield & Son™s Funeral Home, 571 West Greenville Rd., Scituate followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Joseph™s Church, Danielson Pike, Scituate. Burial will follow in the RI Veteran™s Cemetery, Exeter. Calling hours are Wednesday from 5-8pm.
