Nathan E. Cottrell

Cottrell, Nathan E., 28, of Johnston, passed away March 9, 2017. Born in Rota, Spain, he was a son of Edward Cottrell and Susan Lataille-Muccio. Step-son of Edna Cottrell and Anthony Muccio. Besides his parents and step parents he leaves a sister Cassandra Cottrell, a stepbrother Justin Desjardin , his paternal grandmother Beverly Cottrell and maternal grandparents Albert and Judith Lataille. He was the grandson of the late Edward L. Cottrell.Nathan spent the first 13 years living in Rhode Island with his mother. After the age of 13 he went to live in Michigan with his father and family. Nathan was able to experience living as an only child to being one of four. In high school he was four year letterman in varsity wrestling with over 100 wins. He loved sports including the New England Patriots, Boston Red Sox as well as Notre Dame teams. His favorite jobs were landscaping and working at the country club.Nathan was loved by all who knew him. He was sweet, loving and a giving soul. He will live on in the hearts of many.Relatives and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life on Saturday March 18, 2017 at the Valley Country Club, 251 New London Ave., Warwick.
