    Loretta R. Poole died March 16, 2018 at Heritage Hills Nursing Home, Smithfield after a long illness. She had been the wife of the late Lawrence Poole and mother of the late Lawrence Poole, Jr. She is survived by her sisters, Marion Rondeau of Exeter, Ruth Mowry of Burrillville, and Ethel Roach of Attleboro, MA, as well as several nieces and nephews.She was the daughter of the late Michael and Effie (Richards) Kapp, and the sister of the late Edward Kapp, Richard Kapp, and Helen Polacek.Mrs. Poole was employed as a bookkeeper at Rhode Island Hospital Trust Bank in Providence and then in the Trust Department of Citizens Bank in Providence. A longtime Scituate resident she was a communicant and original parishioner of St. Joseph Church in Scituate. She also served as treasurer of the church\\\'s Rosary & Altar Society. Additionally, she served as church secretary for the former pastor Rev. John J. Feeney for over 20 years. In the early years of the Scituate Little League, she was known as Mrs. Little League.The funeral will be held on Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. from the Winfield & Sons Funeral Home, 571 West Greenville Road, Scituate, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Joseph Church, Danielson Pike, Scituate with burial following at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Calling Hours Monday from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m.
