Carreau, Jeannette T. 66, of Johnston, RI, died peacefully Tuesday evening December 1st at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Alfred A. and Beatrice (Moquin) Demers. She had been a Johnston resident for twenty years. Mrs. Carreau was a former CNA at St. Elizabeth’s Home and was also employed by Anson Inc. now known as C&J Jewlery where she met and is survived by her beloved husband of forty-nine years Joseph A. Carreau 3rd . A proud and loving mother, Jeannette is survived by two daughters, Jeannette A. Jarbeau and Jean A. McKee and her husband Stephen M. McKee. In addition, she leaves two sisters, Rita Parsons of Warwick, RI and Linda Mays of Central, FL, five brothers, Alfred Demers of Johnston, RI, Albert Demers of White Hall, MD, Ron Demers of Central, FL, Paul Demers of Abington, MD and Dennis Demers of Warwick, RI. She also leaves four granddaughters, Michelle & Aurora Jarbeau and Sarah & Sophia McKee, two great granddaughters Aliegha Ferrucci and Emma Saunders. She also leaves eight nieces and a nephew and fourteen great nieces and nephews. She was a longtime communicant of St. Bartholomew Church, Providence. A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Bartholomew Church, followed by a private burial at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
