Pfeiler, Harry E., 86, formerly of Warwick, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at Steere House, Providence. He was born on November 4, 1929 in Providence, the son of the late Veronica (McCarthy) and William Pfeiler. He is survived by his wife Janice Evelyn (Patalano) Pfeiler. He was predeceased by his first wife, the late Helen (Pistoni) Pfeiler. He is also survived by his daughter Maria V. Curtin and her husband David D. Curtin, his son Harry E. Pfeiler Jr. and his wife Linda R. Pfeiler, his step son Kyle T. McCarthy, and many nieces and nephews. His sister, Barbara Harrell of Tennessee and her children also mourn his loss.Harry was the proud grandfather of Derrick A. Pfeiler, Nicholas E. Pfeiler, David John Curtin, Marc Andrew Curtin, Scott M. Curtin, Andrew M. McCarthy, and great-granddaughters, Bella Marie Pfeiler and Dakota C. Wyman.Harry began his career as a restaurant owner and continued working as a short order cook for most of his life.He will be remembered for his stoic spirit and his love of family, coffee, and playing cards”in that order.Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at Cornerstone Church, 1990 Elmwood Avenue, Warwick, RI on Saturday, November 28 at 2:00 p.m. Visitation respectfully omitted.
