    Gaylon L. Killingsworth

    Killingsworth, Gaylon L., “Lee”, of Foster, passed away June 5, 2019. He was the beloved husband of Agnes (Clement) Killingsworth for 48 years. Born in Gideon, Missouri, he was a son of the late Lester and Iva Mae(Bridges) Killingsworth. Besides his wife he leaves two daughters Lori Michailides and her husband James of Chepachet, Angela Mello of Foster and four grandchildren Sara and Sean Michailides and Adrianna and Austin Mello. Lee was the brother of William Killingsworth of Attleboro, Donald Killingsworth of Cumberland, Janetta Robinson of Lincoln, Nancy Souza of Cumberland and the late James Bridges, Sr. of Cumberland. He was also an US Army Veteran, serving during the Vietnam War. During different points of his working career, he was a manager at RI Imports, a refrigeration technician, and lastly a letter carrier with the U.S. Postal Service. For the last 17 years, he courageously fought two cancer diagnoses, as well as other related health issues. His priority in life was his three girls, only to be trumped by his profound love for his four grandchildren. A Processional Ceremony will gather Thursday morning June 13th at 8:45 a.m. at the Winfield & Sons Funeral Home, 571 West Greenville Road, Scituate followed by a military committal service at 10:30 a.m. at the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
