DeHONEY, DEBRA A.age 65, passed peacefully Sunday, January 29, 2017, after a long battle with kidney disease. She was surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was born June 28, 1951 in Philadelphia, PA. Wife of the late John W. DeHoney and a daughter of the late Raymond Dapp, and her mother Peggy Dapp. She grew up as a child in Overland Park, KS. She was the loving mother of 2 daughters and a son (Amanda Litchford, Daniel DeHoney, and Nicole DeHoney). Deb was the grandmother of Luke DeHoney and Kasey Litchford. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.Deb was a resident of Pawtucket, RI. She previously worked for Women & Infants Hospital, Leanin\\\' Tree Publishing and also owned her own small business.She was an avid cooker, baker, and entertainer. She was known for her warm hospitality and many, many delicious meals.She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Dapp; her brother, Jeffrey Dapp; and her sister, Maureen Vernon. We know that she will be reunited in heaven with her family and friends. She is survived by her 2 daughters, son, 2 grandchildren, 3 sisters and 3 brothers.The family thanks Esmeralda Martinez for her many hours in helping our mom get through one of the most painful times of her life. We know that Esme went above and beyond everyday and truly made her last years better.Mom you will be truly missed, you brought together an amazing family and we will forever live the you taught us.Private services will be held.In lieu of flowers, we are establishing a gofundme page, to help Esme pay for her upcoming wedding and college expenses.
