Hebert, Carmella (Bucci), 92, of Glocester, passed away peacefully after a full and long life, on Sunday, December 20, 2020, at her daughter’s home, with her loving family surrounding her. She was deeply loved by many and her examples of selflessness will live on through her family. Born in North Providence, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Angelina (Pesaturo) Bucci. Carmella was employed by the State of Rhode Island for many years before retiring. She is survived by her loving children, Marie Alexander, Roland “Chipa” Hebert, Karen Emond and her husband Wayne, Paula Patton and her husband James, Ernest Hebert, Jr., and John Hebert, her nine (9) cherished grandchildren, Chrystal, Audrey, Hollie, William, Sarah, Aimée, Angela, Richard, and Jonathan, and ten (10) great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters Anna Costa, Angela Viola, Dolores Norberg, and Antonia Horning. She was the sister of the late John Bucci, Marie Matarazzo, Frances DeCristofaro, Agostino Bucci, Concetta DaSilva, and Arthur Bucci. Her family extends their gratitude and appreciation to the health care professionals and support staff who aided Carmella and her family throughout this difficult transition. In particular, we would like to acknowledge Alison Stone, R.N., from Continuum Hospice and Ryan Rossi, MD from Coastal Medical, Greenville, for their care. Donations in Carmella’s name may be made to the Glocester Senior Center, 1210 Putnam Pike, Chepachet, RI 02814.
