Alden Edward “Ouggie” Graff

Alden Edward Graff “Ouggie”, 75, passed away on May 7, 2022 in Celebration, Florida. Born in Providence he was the son of the late Alden Graff and Caroline E. (Benedict) Graff. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Alice (Contois) Graff; two children: Edward Graff of Chepachet and Dawn DaSilva and her husband, Marco DaSilva, of Pawtucket; and four grandchildren: Ryan Graff of Claremont, NH, Nathan Graff of Chepachet, and Savannah DaSilva and Ethan DaSilva of Pawtucket. Alden graduated from Vocational High School in Pawtucket. He had worked as a machinist for most of his life. He had been a resident of Pawtucket and Chepachet, Rhode Island until moving to Celebration, Florida in 2018. Alden was in the Army Reserves and Air National Guard just short of 30 years, where he was a heavy equipment operator. He retired from Military service on January 14, 2007. A Memorial Service followed by Military Honors will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at 10:00 a.m in the Winfield & Sons Funeral Home, 571 West Greenville Road, Scituate, Rhode Island.
