Jennie Lola (Konopasaek) Reale, born on February 26, 1973, in Boston, Massachusetts, left us on August 20, 2023, in Providence, Rhode Island surrounded by her family. A spirited soul, Jennie's journey was marked by her relentless determination and unyielding spirit. Preceded in death by her father Jan Konopasaek of the Czech Republic in 2020, and her brother Jerry in 1993, Jennie's legacy is woven through the love she shared with her family. She is survived by her devoted husband, Eric, and her two cherished children, Jaden Reale, of West Warwick, and Special Agent, Sargent Sunny Reale of Fort Belvoir, Fairfax, VA, and her mother, Jutta Wallace, of Germany. Jennie's life was a testament to her fierce independence and unwavering resolve. In a world where chauvinism and misogyny persisted, Jennie fearlessly challenged the norms, proving time and again that her capabilities knew no bounds. She blazed her own trail, leaving her mark as a welder in an environment often unfriendly to women. Her exceptional skill and tenacity knew no limits. Jennie embodied resilience, a force of nature that refused to be constrained. The strength that coursed through Jennie's veins was a gift passed down through generations. With each strike of the hammer and spark of the torch, she shattered barriers and exemplified the phrase "I can't" as nothing more than a feeble excuse. Jennie's intellect matched her courage, making her a beacon of inspiration to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Even as she grappled with her own illness, Jennie's heart remained focused on those around her. Her selflessness was boundless, her concern for others eclipsing her own challenges. In celebration of Jennie's life, the family kindly requests that, in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the GoFundMe established to assist with both funeral expenses and remaining medical bills.
