Dianne E. Ullucci

Dianne E. Ullucci, wife of her soul mate Deacon Paul A. Ullucci, daughter of the late Arthur J. Strobel and the late Martina (Kean) Mattera. Loved by her three children: Paul A. Ullucci, Jr and his wife Judith and their children Harrison, Victoria, Travers; Beth Ullucci and her daughter Ana; and Daniel Ullucci and his wife Jessica Pesce and their son Antonio. Dianne volunteered for many organizations: the L.I.N.K.S. program in North Kingstown. She volunteered her time at Forest Park School in North Kingstown. She served on the P.T.O. for Sarah Dyer Barnes school in Johnston, the Middle School and High School P.T.O.. She was a member of the Johnston Football parents group and the Johnston High Wrestling parents’ organization. Dianne was also active in Scouting. She was a Brownie leader, a Den Leader, a Webelos leader, and a Committee member and fund-raising chair of Troop 20 Johnston. Dianne was also active in her Church. She taught 5th and 6th Religious Education from age 16 to 53 at Our Lady of Grace Church, St. Francis de Sales and St. Robert Bellarmine parishes. She was leader of the Ways and Means committee for St. Robert’s Parish, organizing many functions. When her husband Paul entered the deaconate program, she accompanied him to classes at Providence College and retreats. After Paul’s ordination, she helped him with Baptism Preparation and RCIA Classes. All of these activities took second place to the most important part of her life – her husband Paul, her children and grandchildren. She was a great aunt too! She felt truly blessed to have them in her life and was completely devoted to them. She leaves behind her adored husband Paul, her devoted children and grandchildren and her sister Sandra as well as a brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and grand nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Shiela Pickering and her husband Fred. Funeral Thursday November 2nd at 9:00 a.m. from the Winfield & Sons Funeral Home, 571 West Greenville Road, Scituate followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, Danielson Pike, Scituate. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, Johnston. Calling hours Wednesday 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to St. Joseph’s Church, P.O.
